About me

Hi there! I'm Andrea :) I grew up in Barcelona, studied Fine Arts by mistake, graduated in Design, and spent six years in Berlin figuring out what I actually wanted to make.

I went through editorial design, marketing, motion, and web before I thought I'd found it: design systems. That discipline turned out to be less a discipline and more a way of thinking: how everything connects, how consistency is a form of respect, how the small decisions aren't always small. Then UX arrived and reframed everything. What changed me was real usage data, evidence of how people actually behave when no one's watching. Most of what I did before that was educated guessing. After that, I couldn't go back.

Twelve years across press agencies, startups, and big tech taught me something I didn't expect: the hardest problems in UX aren't design problems. Misaligned stakeholders, stalled projects, shelved designs, confused users… most of those trace back to communication failures. This is why I lead with empathy and open communication, so I can hear what's really being said by users, stakeholders, and teammates alike. Communication isn't a soft skill adjacent to my work. It is my work.

Today, I'm looking for a senior or a lead role where the problems are genuinely hard and important to solve. The intersection of product complexity, human behavior, and organizational messiness is where I do my best work. I need a problem worth solving. If you’d like to talk about design, leadership, or potential collaboration, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’d be happy to connect.
